Treatment: Physical removal is the best method of treatment – either set a trap or wait until the lights are out and grab the crab when it comes out
Identification: these crabs are easily identified by the black tips on their claws; as they get large, they become quite “hairy”
Prevention: Carefully check all rocks for hitchhikers before placing in the tank
