We are looking for someone with great work ethic, a drive to succeed, attention to details and must have some knowledge of aquariums (specifically saltwater aquariums). The ideal candidate will be able to work full or part time Tuesday – Sunday.
Looking for someone who wants a long term career.
Job Responsibilities:
– Restock supplies when needed.
– Have knowledge of livestock, algae, and fish diseases.
– Possess the knowledge to properly select and suggest livestock to customers.
– Taking care of all livestock in store.
– Make sure all equipment in store is in operating condition, perform water changes, diagnose algae or other issues, filtration cleaning and replacing necessarily filtration.
– Water testing (willing to teach).
Minimum requirements:
– Preferably one year working knowledge of various aquarium systems, water testing, pumps, UV sterilization, Skimmers, and dosing systems ect (willing to train the right candidate).
– Passion for aquariums and their inhabitants
– Able to climb, crawl, bend and stoop when and where necessary to access aquarium filtration areas
– A self-starting, professional, and outgoing personality with a positive attitude and desire for a long-term career
After a year of work other perks of the job can be discussed and will become open to you.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Commensurate pay depending on experience
Schedule: (set hours and days to be discussed)
We are open:
Tuesday- Saturday 12:00pm-7:00pm
Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm
Experience: Freshwater or Saltwater Aquarium: 1 year (Preferred).
